Unleash Your Creativity: 7 Ways to Nourish Your Creative Spirit

Everyone is by their nature creative. It's simply a matter of some self-care. Here are 7 ways to open up your creative self.
You are by nature a vibrant, creative force. Often, however, you may get stuck in responsibility, worry, and doubt. Everyone has the capacity to thrive as creative beings. Its a simple matter of self-care and nourishment. Here are seven things you can do to unleash and nourish your creative, vibrant spirit.

1. Meditation: Foster Your Own Internal Peace. Do you have quiet time to yourself each day? Do you have a time, every day, where you stop and pay attention to yourself, your inner desires and your inner voice, where you listen to your dreams, where you connect with your own divine nature and with the world around you? Meditation is simply space for you to just be.

Simple Meditation to Start With: Close your eyes and pay attention to your breathing for a few breaths. Start to notice what thoughts and vibrations you experience and let gravity take them back to the earth. Breathe and release for 10 minutes.

2. Your Virtual Reality: Create a Dreamscape. This is a fancy term for daydreaming, but its what visionaries do all the time. Imagine a scene where you feel great and youre doing exactly what you want to be doing. Would you like to be on a beach with your arms open to the sun? Would you like to go on a long, fascinating quest? By the Law of Attraction, the more you are delighted, the more delight you bring to yourself. So imagine exactly what you enjoy. Youll bring more of it into your life.

3. Do Something Creative, No Matter What! Do you have an activity which allows you to tap into your creative wellspring? Creativity is part of everyones life, and that doesnt mean youre a rockstar or oil painter. You can be creative in anything: relationships, daily business, or your own creative projects. But its like anything else and needs to be actively fostered. Here are some examples of creative sandboxes: If you like to write, set up a time where you write for no reason. Just let it flow for 30 minutes at a time. If you want to write music, play with chords, words, melodies, and see where it takes you. If you want to draw or paint, try finger paints and crayons now and then. Theres no way you can get self-conscious or stuck when youve got goop on your hands!

4. Pamper Your Body. Your mind and spirit can make changes at lightning speed, but the body takes a while to catch up. A great way to ease your body through change is to pamper yourself. If your body is happy, you will have more room to make changes. Here are some examples: Go on a walk in nature and take time to appreciate it. Dance! Dance alone in your home or go out and celebrate with friends. Eat good food. Give your body what it enjoys and needs. Get a massage, facial or other luxury treatment. Exercise what exercise does your body enjoy? Have sex! The body appreciates pleasure in all forms!

5. Create Your Own Inspirational Resource List. What are your favorite movies? Books? Quotes? Places to eat? Musical groups or performers? Activities? Write a list of your top 20 things that inspire you and refer to it whenever you need it.

6. Gratitude: Recognize the Miracles. A great way to be in the flow is to take time each day to recognize the special moments you experienced that day. You can write these down. It can be an unexpected call from an old friend, a project going smoothly, a gorgeous sunset, a great idea you had. Simply stopping and feeling gratitude about them can amplify these moments.

Celebrate: Celebrating is one of the most powerful ways you can show gratitude. You can do this however youd like. You can throw a party, bake for others, buy flowers for yourself or a friend, sing, write a poem, draw something. Anything can be a celebration!

7. Get a Psychic Reading. Getting a psychic reading can be a powerful catalyst to your growth. Communicating with images, psychics can recognize your spirits full capacity, even if you feel a bit stuck and hopeless.
